As a clinician at Red Rock Family Services, I have had the pleasure of the Star Beam Self-Esteem Star Program developed and implemented by Jeanne Yancer introduced to a group of children through our Respite Program. 

The Star Program has offered these young people who have dealt with trauma in their lives the opportunity to find out that they have a star inside of them.  Through meditation, experiential learning, and Keepsake creation art activities they have been opened to their own potential and have begun to see that they are special, capable, and worthy.

I was privileged to have experienced this program for myself with a group of adults and with the children in my group, I learned more about myself as a participant and saw the children develop strength in themselves. Many years ago, in my role as a family therapist I was told by a judge that one adult can change the course of a child's life and I believe that through the Star Beam Self-Esteem Star Program many people can develop a positive sense of self.

 I love the Star Beam Self-Esteem program offered by Jeanne Yancer. She teaches an amazing way to reach deep within yourself to find a connection to inner strengths of self worthiness. Stars are everywhere in nature, the universe and within ourselves. Finding my star taught me how to release my negative thoughts and energy with the ability to replace them with positive, motivating self-esteem on a daily basis. I've taken her class a few times and my journey's have left me rejuvenated. I recommend her program for all ages!! Luanne

Your program is creative, exciting, and joyful. The students are so profound, even at the tender age of 8! The Star program gives children the opportunity to realize they are never alone and always have a “friend.”  Jeanne’s dream is coming to fruition. Blessings.

Staff:   I was pleasantly surprised with their level of engagement which lasted throughout the entire program. I wish I would have gotten down on a star to experience it myself.
